Billing and your subscription
How payment works, how you choose what you pay for, and how to manage it.
How payment works
Section titled “How payment works”Sufflera runs on a prepaid balance, topped up by cryptocurrency payment.
- You add funds to your account balance.
- Your monthly subscription fee is taken from that balance.
- Optional extras — draft packs — are also taken from it.
Everything is drawn from one balance you control. There is no card on file, no surprise charge, and no third party holding a payment instrument on your behalf. We never receive or store card details, bank details or wallet credentials.
Your balance stays on the account. Cancelling never consumes it; it remains available for a future subscription or for draft packs. Balance and drafts are a prepayment for the service and are non-refundable — see Terms of Service §10.7.
There are no plans — you build your own
Section titled “There are no plans — you build your own”You do not pick a tier. You pick two numbers:
- Creators — how many creators the account may hold.
- Drafts per month — how many replies the assistant may generate each month.
The price follows those two numbers directly. Move a slider, watch the monthly price change, confirm when it says what you want to pay.
The smallest setting is free. One creator and 100 drafts a month costs nothing — it is a normal subscription that happens to price at zero, on the same monthly cycle as any other. You are never asked for money to keep working at that size, and you are never asked to “upgrade” to a shape somebody else designed.
Everything that used to sit behind a tier — bulk import, full analytics, the activity log, priority processing — turns on as soon as your subscription costs more than $0, whatever numbers you chose to get there.
There is no limit on fans, and no limit on team members: the size of your team is not something we charge for.
Choosing your numbers
Section titled “Choosing your numbers”- Open Settings → Billing.
- Drag Creators and Drafts per month to what you need.
- Read the two figures under the sliders:
- Monthly price — what this configuration costs every period.
- Charged now — what actually leaves your balance today, after any referral discount.
- Click Apply and confirm.

If your balance does not cover it, the confirmation says so before you commit and nothing is taken.
If you signed up through a referral link. Your discount is applied to the first subscription you actually pay for. Activating the free base costs $0, so it does not use the discount up — the screen says so while the sliders are at the bottom, and the discount waits. It is applied once, to that first paid charge; the percentage comes off the monthly price, and Charged now already shows the result. See Referral Programme.
Increasing mid-period
Section titled “Increasing mid-period”An increase takes effect immediately, and you pay the difference between the new monthly price and your current one — not a fresh full month.
- Your renewal date does not change. You keep the period you already paid for; the next renewal simply charges the new monthly price.
- Your drafts go up by the difference, added to what you have left. Nothing you have already used is taken back.
- Increasing several times in one period costs the same as going straight there. The differences add up to exactly the gap between where you started and where you ended. You never pay twice for the same capacity.
Decreasing
Section titled “Decreasing”A decrease is scheduled, not immediate. It takes effect at your next renewal, and the screen tells you the date.
Until then everything stays exactly as it is: the same creators, the same drafts, the same access. Nothing is refunded or credited for the rest of the period — you keep the capacity you already paid for until it runs out.
Changed your mind? Set the sliders back to your current numbers and the scheduled change is cancelled. Nothing is charged for that.
If you end up with more creators than you pay for
Section titled “If you end up with more creators than you pay for”Nothing is ever deleted. Creators over your new number stay visible and exportable, but they cannot be edited, cannot take new fans and do not generate new drafts until you free a slot or raise the number again. The oldest creators keep working; archive one you no longer need and the rest come back.
Your team is not affected in any way. Nobody is signed out, deactivated or restricted because of a billing change.
Cancelling
Section titled “Cancelling”- Open Settings → Billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
What happens:
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- At that date the account returns to the free setting — one creator, 100 drafts a month — and keeps running from there.
- Nothing further is charged.
- Your balance is untouched.
Change your mind at any point before the period ends and resume with one click.
Drafts
Section titled “Drafts”Every generation costs one draft, however much work goes into producing it.
One counter. Your subscription fills it at each renewal, and it is what every draft is spent from. Settings → Billing shows what is left; so does the chip in the top bar and the side panel of the extension.
It resets at every renewal. Whatever is left on your renewal date — from your subscription or from a pack — does not carry over. The renewal date is shown next to the counter, so you always know when.
As you run low you get a notification when about a fifth is left, and again when it reaches zero — so it is never a surprise mid-shift.
Draft packs
Section titled “Draft packs”Need more before your next renewal? Buy a pack under Extra drafts in Settings → Billing:
| Pack | Drafts |
|---|---|
| Starter | 100 |
| Standard | 500 |
| Large | 1 000 |
| Bulk | 5 000 |
A pack is added to the same counter and is available immediately.
⚠️ Packs expire at your next renewal, exactly like the rest of the counter. The purchase screen shows the date. Buy a pack to get through the rest of this period — if you need more every month, raise your monthly number instead.
Packs have no cash value and are not transferable or refundable.
Renewals and account status
Section titled “Renewals and account status”Your subscription renews automatically from your balance on the same day each month. Three statuses exist:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Everything running normally |
| Grace period | A renewal could not be taken because the balance was too low. You have three days of full access to top up |
| Suspended | The grace period elapsed. Top up and start the subscription again to restore access |
Topping up during the grace period is all it takes. The renewal retries by itself within the hour and the account returns to Active — you do not have to re-subscribe or click anything. Your renewal date does not move while you are late, so paying two days late costs those two days and nothing more.
You are notified at every step: three days before a renewal (with the exact amount that will be taken), on a successful charge, if a renewal fails, and if the grace period is running out. Your data is never deleted because of billing status.
Adding funds
Section titled “Adding funds”What you pay with: USDT on the TRON network (TRC-20). The invoice always states the asset, the network and the exact amount — those are what count, and you should read them even if you have paid before.
- Open Settings → Billing and find Top up balance.
- Enter an Amount. The line beneath shows roughly how many months of your current subscription that covers.
- Click Create invoice, then Pay invoice to complete the payment.
- Your balance updates as soon as the payment confirms. Refresh balance checks again if you do not want to wait.
You have 60 minutes. An invoice is valid for one hour from the moment you create it. That is deliberately generous: the slow step is rarely the network — TRON settles in seconds — it is getting the coin out of an exchange, which can sit in a manual review for a while. If you are buying USDT for the first time, start the withdrawal first and create the invoice once the coin is on its way. An expired invoice is not a disaster — see below — but a fresh one is always cleaner.
Paying by cryptocurrency — please note. Crypto transfers are irreversible. Send the exact amount shown, on the network and in the asset the invoice specifies, and before the invoice expires. Sending the wrong amount, using the wrong network, or paying an expired invoice can result in loss of funds that cannot be recovered. If anything about a payment looks wrong, write to billing@sufflera.com before sending rather than after.
If the top-up form stops you
Section titled “If the top-up form stops you”Two messages are normal operation rather than a fault, and each has a one-line answer.
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “You already have 3 unpaid top-up invoices.” | Three invoices you created are still waiting to be paid. We cap it at three so one account cannot tie up the payment addresses everyone shares. | Pay one of them, or simply let one expire, then create the new one. |
| “All payment addresses are busy right now.” | Every payment address is currently reserved by an invoice somebody has not paid yet. Nothing is broken and nothing is lost. | Wait a few minutes and click Create invoice again. |
If either message keeps coming back after a few attempts, write to billing@sufflera.com — do not send funds to an address from an older invoice to work around it.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Billing emails go to everyone whose role includes billing visibility. Add your accountant’s address in Settings → Notifications to include them without giving them access to the account.
Transaction history
Section titled “Transaction history”Settings → Billing holds the full ledger: deposits, subscription renewals, mid-period increases, draft packs, referral rewards and manual adjustments — each with an amount, a status and a date.
A renewal on the free setting appears as a $0 entry. That is deliberate: it is your evidence that the cycle ran and your drafts were refilled.
Billing queries should be raised within 30 days of the transaction concerned.
Price changes. We give 30 days’ written notice before changing our rates. Changes take effect at your next renewal, and because your price is calculated from your own numbers, a rate change changes what your existing configuration costs. The reminder we send three days before each renewal always states the amount that will actually be taken.
Individually agreed rates
Section titled “Individually agreed rates”Operating at a scale the public sliders do not cover, or negotiating a rate? Write to sales@sufflera.com. An agreed deal is applied to your account as your own rate card: the sliders, the price, the mid-period increase and the renewal all keep working exactly as described above — just at your rates, and with limits set to what was agreed.
Frequently asked
Section titled “Frequently asked”Can I pay by card? Payment is by cryptocurrency — USDT on TRON — which keeps settlement fast and avoids the processing restrictions that affect this industry. Funds land on your balance and are spent from there.
What happens if my invoice expires before the transfer arrives? Nothing is lost. We keep watching the address after the invoice expires, so a transfer that lands late is still credited to your balance. If it does not appear within a few hours, send us the transaction hash at billing@sufflera.com and we will match it by hand.
What if I run out of drafts mid-shift? Buy a draft pack — it applies immediately. If it happens every month, raise your monthly number instead: an increase also takes effect immediately and you only pay the difference.
Do my leftover drafts carry over? No. The counter is reset at every renewal, packs included.
What happens to my data if I decrease my numbers? Nothing is deleted. Creators above your new number become read-only until you free a slot or raise it again. Your team is untouched.
Do team members cost anything? No. Team size is not priced, and nothing about billing removes or restricts anyone’s access.
