Writing Replies

The core loop of the platform: open a conversation, generate, adjust, send. This guide covers how to do it well.

  1. Open the conversation on OnlyFans, Fansly or Fanvue. The panel recognises the fan and loads their profile.
  2. Read the glance. One line: stage, spend, last seen, warmth. Two seconds.
  3. Read what they actually sent. The panel lists every message since your creator last replied.
  4. Generate — click the button.
  5. Read and adjust the draft.
  6. Send — Copy, Insert, or Send.

The same six steps in the dashboard, where a manager works a conversation without the extension:

Writing a reply: the fan's message, the hint, the draft, and what you can do with it

  1. The fan’s message — what you are answering.
  2. The hint — one line of steering for this reply only. Tick Keep after generating and it survives into the next one.
  3. The draft — editable. Whatever is in this box is what you send.
  4. Adjust it — regenerate, or nudge it shorter, flirtier or more casual without retyping.
  5. Copy & save to history — copies the reply and records it, so the next draft is built on a complete conversation.

You do not have to assemble any of this. Every generation automatically accounts for:

  • Every message the fan has sent since your creator last replied
  • The conversation’s full history
  • The fan’s profile: your notes, your instructions for the AI, AI memory, tags, spend, funnel stage
  • The creator’s persona: voice, backstory, boundaries, catchphrases, pet name, reply length
  • The creator’s current mood, the time of day where they live, and their weekly routine
  • How warm the creator currently feels toward this specific fan
  • Any media item you have attached
  • Your content rules and forbidden phrases

This is why a draft here reads differently from a generic AI reply: it is written by someone specific, to someone specific, at a specific moment.

The hint box is the fastest tool in the panel and the most underused.

Rather than rewriting a draft you do not like, type a short instruction and regenerate:

You wantType
Something shortermuch shorter, two lines
To decline gracefullypolitely decline, stay warm, redirect
To move toward a salemention the new set, don't state a price yet
A different anglebe teasing rather than sweet
To answer a specific questionanswer his question about the schedule first
To buy timeshe's busy right now, promise to reply properly tonight

A hint applies to that one generation only. It is never saved and never affects another conversation.

Agency tip. Train chatters to hint rather than rewrite. It is faster, it keeps the persona consistent, and the resulting message reads like the creator instead of like the chatter.

To have the draft offer something specific from your catalogue, attach the item before generating. The draft is then written knowing exactly what is on offer, what it contains and what it should cost.

The platform also knows what this fan has already received, so nothing is re-offered.

See Quick Replies and Media.

ActionWhat happensUse when
CopyThe text goes to your clipboardYou want to paste it yourself, or you are working outside the platform
InsertThe text is placed in the platform’s message box; you press sendYou want a final look inside the platform before it goes
SendThe text is inserted and sentStandard high-volume working

Send writes the message into the fan’s history itself, immediately. Insert and Copy are picked up by live sync the moment the message appears in the conversation — the same way anything your chatter types on the platform by hand is picked up. Either way the next draft in this conversation already knows what was said.

The one case worth knowing: text copied out and sent from somewhere other than the platform tab never passes in front of the extension, so the CRM does not see it and the next draft is written as though the creator never replied. If your team works that way, have them send through the panel.

Before either Insert or Send writes anything, the panel confirms the conversation on screen is still the one the draft was written for. If you have switched conversations in the meantime, the action stops and tells you — you can never send one fan’s message to another.

Every draft is fully editable, and what you send is what the fan receives.

An edited draft is checked again before it can go out. The moment you change the text, Copy, Insert and Send stand down and the panel says why: “This text changed after its safety review. Re-check it before copying, inserting, or sending.” Press Re-check text and the three buttons come back.

Two things follow from that, and both matter on a busy shift:

  • A re-check costs one draft from your monthly allowance, exactly like a generation does. So does translating an edited bilingual draft.
  • Steering costs less than fixing. A hint and a fresh generation cost the same one draft as editing and re-checking — but the result is written in the creator’s voice rather than the chatter’s. This is the concrete reason behind the advice in the hint box section above.

The platform records the version you actually sent alongside the draft it produced, which is how the quality reporting knows how much editing your team is doing. Falling edit rates over the first few weeks are the clearest signal that a persona is dialled in.

👍 / 👎 lives in the dashboard rather than in the side panel: open Fans, pick the fan, and the two controls sit under the draft on their Conversation tab. Every draft generated for that person is kept on the Insights tab, under Past drafts, with the rating it was given.

Ratings feed the quality metrics on your Analytics dashboard, and they are how a manager identifies which creators need persona work.

Agency tip. Rating is a manager’s task, not a chatter’s — it belongs to the same sitting as the persona check in Draft Quality and Review. When you generate a few drafts on real conversations after changing a persona, rate them while you are there: that is where the judgement is being made anyway.

If your chatter and your fan speak different languages, enable bilingual drafts in the panel’s settings.

  • The draft is produced in the fan’s language — that is what gets sent.
  • A version in the chatter’s language appears beneath it, for reading and editing.
  • Incoming messages are shown translated, with the original always available.

The fan’s language is detected automatically and can be locked on their profile so it never changes. See The Fan Profile.

This lets you staff a Spanish-speaking audience with an English-speaking team without either side noticing.

Not happy with a draft? Add a hint and generate again. Each generation counts against your monthly draft allowance, so hinting well the first time is worth more than regenerating three times.

Every draft is reviewed automatically before it reaches you. Replies that would promise something that has not been agreed, invent a fact about the fan, claim to attach content that is not attached, or break one of your creator’s rules are caught and rewritten before you ever see them.

Occasionally a draft arrives with a note advising a closer look. That is the system telling you a human judgement is worth making. See Draft Quality and Review.

  1. Set the correct creator before opening the inbox.
  2. Work the Ready to offer funnel stage first — those conversations are the ones with money in them today.
  3. Then work unanswered conversations by lifetime value, highest first.
  4. For every VIP, read the Fan tab before generating.
  5. Hint rather than rewrite.
  6. Log every purchase as it happens.
  7. Set a reminder on any conversation that needs a next action.
  8. Flag the drafts that were badly wrong to your manager — the record of every one of them is waiting on the fan’s page for whoever does the rating.
