Referral Programme

Introduce another agency to Sufflera and you both benefit. They get a discount on their first subscription; you get credit on your balance.

They receive20% off their first subscription payment
You receive20% of their subscription price, credited to your balance
WhenThe moment they first pay for a subscription
How many peopleNo limit
How long the connection lastsPermanently — it is recorded at registration and never expires

Both amounts are calculated from the full monthly subscription price — the number their two sliders produce (see Billing). If they build a $99/month subscription, they pay $79.20 and you receive $19.80.

Every user has their own referral link — owners, managers and chatters alike. Find yours in Settings → Referrals.

Settings → Referrals: your invite link, when the reward is credited, and what you have brought in so far

Your link never changes. Changing your email, your role or your permissions does not affect it, so a link you shared a year ago still works.

  1. Share your link. It leads to the normal sign-up page.
  2. They register through it. The connection is recorded permanently.
  3. They build a paid subscription — whenever that happens. There is no expiry: someone who registers today and subscribes next year still counts. Time spent on the free base changes nothing.
  4. Both rewards apply at that moment. Their discount is applied to the payment; your credit lands on your account balance immediately.

Your reward is credited when they actually pay. Registrations — and free-base activations, which cost nothing — do not generate rewards and do not use up the discount.

There are no plans to choose between — every account builds its own subscription from two numbers. Both the discount and your reward are calculated from the price those numbers produce, so a referral who builds a large subscription is worth more to you than one who builds a small one.

The percentage is fixed at the moment they register and never changes afterwards, whatever happens to the programme later.

The amount is set by their first paid subscription

Section titled “The amount is set by their first paid subscription”

Your reward is a percentage of the price they pay the first time they pay, and it is settled there and then. If they start small and increase their numbers later, that increase does not add anything to your reward — the referral is already closed. The same goes for renewals and draft packs.

So the size that matters is the one they build on day one, not the one they end up with. This is worth knowing when you introduce someone: helping them work out the numbers they actually need, rather than the smallest that will do, is the difference.

The free base does not use up the discount

Section titled “The free base does not use up the discount”

The smallest position on the sliders — 1 creator and 100 drafts — costs $0. Activating it is not a payment, so it does not consume the referral: the discount is untouched and waits for the first subscription that actually costs something.

This matters because it is the ordinary path: somebody signs up through your link, tries the free base for a week, and only then builds a paid subscription. The discount applies to that payment, and your reward is credited then. The billing screen tells them the same thing while they are moving the sliders.

Settings → Referrals shows you:

  • Your personal link
  • How many people have registered through it
  • How many of those have subscribed
  • How much you have earned

If your role includes billing visibility, you also see the account-wide totals across everyone on your team.

Privacy. You never see the names, email addresses or business details of the people you refer — only dates, statuses and amounts. The same applies in reverse: nobody you refer learns anything about you.

Rewards are credited to the account balance, not to an individual person.

Each user still has their own link, so it is always clear who introduced whom. Agency owners who compensate team members for referrals can see exactly who brought what, and settle accordingly.

Agency tip. Give every chatter their link during onboarding. Chatters know other chatters, and they know which agencies are struggling with the problem this platform solves.

Referral credit lands on your balance and pays for subscriptions and draft packs, exactly like funds you deposit yourself. It appears in your transaction history as a referral reward.

It is account credit only: it has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and is not transferable or redeemable for money.

  • Rewards are credited only after the referred agency makes a genuine qualifying payment — registrations alone earn nothing.
  • A reward is granted once per referred agency, never on renewals or later purchases, and its amount is calculated from the price of that first paid subscription — a later increase does not raise it.
  • Activating the free base costs $0, so it is not a qualifying payment: it earns nothing and uses nothing up.
  • Discounts apply to that agency’s first paid subscription period only.
  • One agency can have one referrer, permanently, recorded at registration.
  • Two independent agencies may introduce each other and both benefit.
  • Self-referral is prohibited, as is creating accounts to claim rewards, buying referrals, misleading promotion, and spam distribution of links. We may void a referral, withhold or reverse a reward, and suspend participation where we reasonably suspect abuse or where the underlying payment is reversed.
  • We may modify or discontinue the programme. Doing so never cancels a reward already credited, nor a discount already promised to an agency that has already registered under a link.
